The University of Toronto Consulting Association (UTCA) is excited to announce that, as a part of our joint partnership with Boston Consulting Group, our members will have the opportunity to visit their offices located at Brookfield Place. The firm visit will be taking place on Thursday evening, September 24th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
This is an amazing opportunity for graduating students who are interested in pursuing a career in consulting to meet current BCG consultants to learn more about the type of work that the firm does and ask questions before submitting resumes for full time recruitment.
Only a select number of students will be able to attend the session as spaces are limited. If you are interested in consulting and are considering applying to the University of Toronto Consulting Association by completing the following instructions:

The Volunteer Consulting Group (VCG) provides pro-bono consulting to community-based organizations. We match top University students with local non-profits to solve problems in the areas of marketing, fundraising, finances, organizational structure and human resource management.
Each VCG team is comprised of four to five volunteer consultants who work alongside a Rotman MBA engagement manager and an advisor from a consulting firm. This is a great opportunity to gain first hand consulting experience, participate in training sessions, and develop leadership skills while making a positive impact.

After a busy day of presentations and events, the UTCA Business Case Competition 2009 has drawn to a successful end! Want the opportunity to watch the University of TorontoÂ’s highest profile consulting competition? The 2009 Case Competition is open to all U of T students to view the final round presentations by the top competing teams, and the awards ceremony and reception with all teams and consultants.

Want a chance to tackle real consulting cases, develop creative strategies, and then show off your talents to representatives from top consulting firms? The 2009 UTCA Case Competition offers you the valuable experience to prove to yourself and our panel of judges from the world's top management consulting firms that you have what it takes to become a successful consultant! How it works: Your team will be presented with a business case that deals with current issues. You and your teammates will then have three days to brainstorm, research and develop key strategies to solve the given business problem. Your team will then prepare and present your framework to a panel of industry professionals. UTCA will provide a mandatory workshop to be held prior to the case competition to give you hints on how to steer your way to a successful and impressive presentation!
Grand Prizes include:
1st Place Team - $200

Mock Case Interview Sessions with Deloitte Consulting

UTCA and Deloitte are organizing a Mock Interview event on the afternoon of Friday September 12. The purpose of this event is to give you a chance to practice a real consulting case in a "real" interview environment.
